Order Pricing Analysis Report - IVC 7

The Order Pricing Analysis Report allows you to monitor potentially problematic pricing issues, such as orders with promotional prices that have expired between the time the order was entered and invoiced. The Pricing Analysis Report can be run automatically from within the Invoicing By Status Code Program. This version analyzes the orders being invoiced. It is activated from the Invoicing Pricing & Promotions Pricing ShipBy Analysis Rpt.

It can also be run from the Invoicing Menu on demand for any span of ship dates.

The following screen displays when you select option 7 on the Invoicing Menu:

If you choose option 1 - Print Order Pricing Analysis Report, the following screen appears.

Enter a ship date range (in MM/DD/YY 1/01/2004 format), and optionally change the parameters that control which lines will print on the report. The default values for these parameters are taken from the system-wide settings option for the Pricing Analysis Report.

Option 2 - Display Promotional Pricing Ship by Analysis Report (on screen)

This option presents an on screen display that shows the orders that will miss the Ship By date to receive the promo price or cost allowance. This allows the user to be proactive in reviewing orders two weeks prior or less from missing the ship date to receive the active price and cost allowance promo.

To view details about the order, enter a 5 on the appropriate Opt line.

By monitoring both the report and the on-screen display of orders that will ship past the Ship Date required by the manufacturer, you will be able to make sure an item is shipped on time or contact the consumer and make them aware of the price increase. This gives you the ability to accurately claim your rebates from the manufacturer and charge your customer the correct price for the material.

To view or edit an individual order/line number, enter a 5 in the Opt column. The Open Order File Search By Order Number screen appears. From this screen, you can review and change order information (i.e. DT-Req).
